FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are my delivery options?

We have a tried and trusted relationship with FedEx. Delivery is a flat rate of £9.95 per order anywhere in mainland UK (free delivery over £150 spend), with the exception of the Scottish Highlands & islands, which is £42.95 (shipping to the highlands is exceptionally difficult, especially with heavy packages). While this price doesn’t quite cover the cost of all packaging and shipping, it is the price we felt was fair to pass on to the customer. We know a lot of companies offer free delivery, but there is a tendency to over inflate product prices to make up for that free delivery - you always pay for it somewhere! We never inflate our prices, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.

How long will it take for my order to get to me?

We will despatch from our warehouse the next working day that follows your order. This means that if you order on a Friday, we will despatch the following Monday. FedEx always aim for next day delivery following their collection of the parcel, but we cannot guarantee or control delivery times once the order has left our warehouse. For more info on deliveries, please refer to our terms and conditions.

What is your returns policy?

Please refer to our terms and conditions page for our full returns policy.

Why are the wine descriptions the way they are?

All of our tasting notes are written by hand, according to our personal experience. We try to break a tasting note down into simple, understandable and accessible ‘need-to-knows’ - but if you feel there is anything else you would like to find out about a product, please do get in contact.

Why do the words & descriptions from other languages not contain any accents?

We understand that wine words and names often contain accents of various kinds, specific to each language. We also know that sometimes people find foreign language words confusing and hard to pronounce. In the interest of being more accessible to everyone, we chose to remove all accents in the hopes of preventing any unnecessary barriers between our excellent wines and their possible future owners!
